Yesterday I found a brand new 2018 Aston Martin Vantage GTE testing at Monza Circuit together with a couple of Ford GT LM in view of the first rounds of the WEC super-season. Due to the young partnership between Aston and Mercedes-AMG the 2018 Vantage is powered by a Mercedes-AMG 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine. During an early test video back in 2017 I found it sounding quite like a Bentley GT3 but, just a few weeks later, the sound was completely different, more like a 488 GT3/GTE with touches of BMW M6 GT3. Maybe they change the exhaust configuration (and possibly even a crankshaft layout swap, from cross to flat, but that's just my supposition and it may be totally illogical and unachievable without modifying the whole engine) but that's how the 2018 sounds like right now, unfotunately far away from the old N/A V8. -- Subscribe to my 2nd channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3XVG02cKYsLyUUewv-qkoQ You can also find and follow me on: - Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/19bozzy92/ - Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/19Bozzy92YT - Google+: https://plus.google.com/100567781241722617164/posts - Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ste19bozzy92/ Camcorder: Canon Legria HF G40 + Canon DM-100 Microphone Event: Test Monza 16th April 2018 Where: Autodromo di Monza, Italy Link To My Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/19Bozzy92 THANKS FOR WATCHING AND SUBSCRIBE!!!
