New 2023 Pirelli F1 Tyres testing at Imola, Day 2, April 27, 2022 – Ferrari, Alfa Romeo AlphaTauri

The second day of testing at the Imola circuit was dedicated to developing the new Pirelli tires for the 2023 Formula One season. Three teams tested the tires for the whole day using the current single-seaters for the 2022 season. The Ferrari F1-75 with Charles Leclerc Carlos Sainz, the Alfa Romeo C42 driven by test driver Robert Kubica and the AlphaTauri AT03 driven by the Japanese Yuki Tsunoda. The advantage for Pirelli is that of accumulating important and truthful data as the latest single-seaters equipped with ground effect and not cars from previous seasons are being used and have been adapted as in recent years.
