Absurdly Small 1.5L Flat-12 Engine: 1965 Ferrari 1512 F1 Sound

You know I'm always so happy to record something you hardly find on Youtube and this is one of that. It's a Ferrari 1512 F1 (also called 512 F1) and it was the car used by Ferrari during the 1965 Formula 1 championship together with the 1964 Ferrari 158. Born with the intention of replacing this one, the 1512 was "rejected" by John Surtees who preferred to race again with its 158 due to its greater ease of driving. Actually the two cars are practically the same apart from the engine (1.5L V8 for the 158), a longer wheelbase and extra weight for the 1512. The 1512 F1 is powered by a 1.5 litre flat-12 engine which produces 220 bhp at 12,000 rpm and it's able to reach 270 km/h of top speed. Watch and hear it in action during the 2017 Goodwood Festival of speed!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have to thank my friend and youtuber NM2255 (https://www.youtube.com/user/NM2255) for letting me use his shots taken during the event.
