300 HP 2012 Checkmate 24 – One Wake

Welcome to our new marine-themed series on The Smoking Tire, "One Wake!" in this series, we will explore the world of boats in the same format as we do cars, in One Take! This is a 24-foot Checkmate lake boat powered by a 300-horsepower Mercury Marine Outboard Engine. It has a top speed of around 65 mph, and its owner, Rick, uses it for waterskiing, wakeboarding, and general purpose fun in lakes all over Southern California and Arizona.
