2 Bettega Tribute – Adriatic Champions Race 2023 Jesolo – Historic Rally Cars – Stratos, 037, M3

I had the pleasure of filming the 2nd Bettega Tribute - Adriatic Champions Race 2023 in Jesolo. This second video is about historic rally cars. The event is made up of a series of one-on-one elimination competitions that take place over three days. The direct clashes will decide the strongest drivers until the final battle between the best times to determine the winner. With the modern cars, there is, therefore, a trophy dedicated to the historic ones in memory of Attilio Bettega. The Italian driver died prematurely in 1985 at the Tour de Corse, where he had a fatal accident aboard the Lancia 037 Group B. The Memorial of the same name, which took place annually from 1985 to 2017 at the Bologna Motor Show, was dedicated in his memory. For a couple of years, taking up the format of the races held in Bologna, this beautiful rally event has been proposed again in a small city circuit. In the video, you will find some cars that have made the history of this sport, such as the Lancia Stratos and 037, Ford Escort MKII, BMW M3 e30, Porsche 911 RS and also a star putting on a show like Paolo Diana and his Fiat 131 Proto. We mention Alessandro Bettega, Denny Zardo, Antonio Faccina and Lucio De Zanche among the drivers present. The video you see refers to Saturday, December 16, Enjoy! ? Ho avuto il piacere di filmare il 2 Bettega Tribute - Adriatic Champions Race 2023 nella cittadina di Jesolo. Questo secondo video riguarda le vetture storiche da rally. La manifestazione e' formata da una serie di gare uno contro uno ad eliminazione che si svolge su tre giornate. Gli scontri diretti decreteranno i piloti piu' forti fino alla battaglia finale tra i migliori tempi per decretare il vincitore. Assieme alle vetture moderne c'e' quindi un trofeo dedicato alle auto storiche nella memoria di Attilio Bettega. Il pilota italiano e' scomparso prematuramente nel 1985 al Tour de Corse dove ebbe un'incidente mortale a bordo della Lancia 037 Gruppo B. In sua memoria fu dedicato l'omonimo Memorial che si svolse annualmente dal 1985 al 2017 al Motor Show di Bologna. Da un paio di anni, riprendendo il formato delle gare svoltesi a Bologna viene riproposta questa bella manifestazione di Rally in un piccolo circuito cittadino.
