Trebbiatura Storica – 53 Festa della Campagna 2023 – Maddalena di Cazzano, Budrio (BO)

In 2023, the famous Festa della Campagna (Countryside Festival) of Maddalena di Cazzano, a small village in the municipality of Budrio (BO), which has been taking place since 1970, has reached its 53rd edition. It comes to life in the spaces surrounding the church of S. Maria Maddalena Penitente, and the meadows are home to dozens and dozens of tractors of all types. Every year, the threshing demonstration occurs as it historically happened before the advent of modern machinery. Thanks to the guys's staff, we can observe the grain loading in the upper part of the thresher. This machinery separates the grains that will go into the bags while the chaff is expelled laterally. The straw is finally compacted and tied, forming rectangular blocks to be placed on the carts. Thanks to a system of bands, transmissions and gears, the engine and pulley of a Landini hot-bulb tractor move the entire machinery. Undoubtedly tiring and very dusty work, remembering the sacrifices of our grandparents in the fields. Enjoy! ? Nel 2023 la famosa Festa della Campagna di Maddalena di Cazzano, piccola frazione del comune di Budrio (BO) che si svolge dal 1970 e' giunta all'edizione numero 53. Prende vita negli spazi che circondano la Parrocchia di S.Maria Maddalena Penitente e nei prati trovono posto decine e decine di trattori di tutti i tipi. Ogni anno si svolge la dimostrazione della trebbiatura come storicamente avveniva prima dell'avvento dei moderni macchinari. Grazie ai ragazzi che compongono lo staff possiamo osservare il caricamento del grano nella parte alta della trebbiatrice. Questo macchinario separa i chicchi che andranno nei sacchi mentre la pula viene espulsa lateralmente. La paglia viene infine compattata e legata formando dei blocchi rettangolari da posizionare sui carri. Grazie ad un sistema di fasce, rinvii ed ingranaggi il motore e la puleggia di un trattore Landini testa calda muove tutto il macchinario. Lavoro indubbiamente faticoso e molto polveroso, ricordando i sacrifici dei nostri nonni nei campi. Buona visione! ? ???????
