The time has come for David to meet Goliath – Abarth 595 Orange VS Nissan GT-R R35 – Bangs Battle!

It seems that the time has come for Davide to meet Goliath, and this is what I saw at a recent gathering of sports and elaborate cars organized by Street Legends Eventi at Fossoli airport, near Carpi (MO). The legendary flames and exhaust bursts from the Nissan GT-R R35 Twin Turbo are now known worldwide; there are hundreds of videos everywhere where cars of this type manage to create a particular show. I didn't expect the power of the "Bang" with related flames generated by the small Abarth 595 Orange, so much so that it seems to have a machine gun instead of the exhaust. Usually, these effects can be obtained by modifying the ECU mapping and ensuring that unburned gasoline can come out of the hot exhaust manifolds and exhaust system. In this way, mini ignitions/explosions occur, which allow emitting the sound "Bang" or "Pop "and its flames. To do this, it's better to have modified exhausts, and the sharp increase in temperatures can harm turbines. Enjoy! ? Le leggendarie fiamme e scoppi allo scarico dalla Nissan GT-R R35 Twin Turbo sono oramai noti in tutto il mondo, si sono centinaia di video ovunque dove auto di questo tipo riescono a creare un certo spettacolo. Quello che non mi aspettavo e' la potenza dei "Bang" con relative fiammelle generate dalla piccola Abarth 595 Orange, tanto da far sembrare di avere un mitragliatore al posto dello scarico. Solitamente questi effetti si riescono ad ottenere modificando la mappatura della centralina e facendo in modo che benzina ancora incombusta possa uscire dei collettori di scarico roventi ed in questo modo si verificano delle mini accensioni/esplosioni che pemettono di emettere il suono "Bang" o "Pop" e le relative fiamme. Bisogna ricordare che per fare cio' e' meglio avere scarichi modificati ed il forte aumento delle temperature puo' essere deleterio sulle turbine.
