Sébastien Loeb Romain Dumas at 12H Mugello 2024 Endurance – Porsche 992 GT3 Cup by Orchid Racing

At the end of March 2024, the traditional Mugello 12H Endurance race organized by Creventic and part of the 24H Series championship took place. On this occasion, I could see a genuinely top-notch crew in action because the Orchid Racing Team fielded two formidable French motorsport champions among the four drivers in the race. We are talking about Sebastien Loeb, 9-time world rally champion and Romain Dumas, winner of two 24H Le Mans, four Pikes Peaks and much more. Sharing the car with them were the Frenchman Laurent Misbach and two Swiss drivers, Loic Villiger and Alexandre Mottet. The vehicle used in the race, number 963, was a Porsche 991 GT3 CUP that drove very well for all twelve races. At the end of the competition, they obtained ninth place overall and second in class after completing 315 total laps, three more than the category winners Rent Ant Racing Team. Alla fine del mese di Marzo 2024 si e' svolta la tradizionale gara Endurance 12H del Mugello organizzata da Creventic e facente parte del campionato 24H Series. Proprio in questa occasione ho potuto vedere in azione un'equipaggio davvero di prim'ordine perche' l'Orchid Racing Team ha schierato, tra i quattro piloti in gara, due formidabili campioni francesi del motorsport. Stiamo parlando di Sebastien Loeb, 9 volte campione del mondo rally e Romain Dumas, vincitore di due 24H di Le Mans, quattro Pikes Peak e tanto altro. Con loro a dividere l'auto il francese Laurent Misbach e due piloti svizzeri, Loic Villiger e Alexandre Mottet. La vettura ulitizzata in gara, numero 963, e' stata una Porsche 991 GT3 CUP che hanno condotto molto bene per tutte le dodici disputate. Al termine della competizione hanno ottenuto il nono posto assoluto ed il secondo di classe dopo aver compiuto 315 giri totali, tre in piu' dei vincitori di categoria Rent Ant Racing Team.
