Scuderia Glickenhaus 004CS Visual Overview – Villa d’Este 2022

During the 2022 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este I have filmed the new Scuderia GLickenhaus 004CS. The Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) 004CS was announced back in 2020 and, even if we had to wait two years for it, the supercar is now finally street legal in the U.S. The non-road-legal race car - the 004C - just raced the recent Nurburgring 24 Hours where it finished 12th overall. As for the street legal version - the 004CS - a report from Road Track suggests that deliveries will begin next month and that, by the end of 2022, a total of 25 customers will already receive their cars. As expected, the car will not be cheap, with prices set to start from an eye-watering $627,000. In the same interview, Jim Glickenhaus confirmed that a total of four 004 prototypes had to be destroyed in order to get the car ready for global homologation. Also, the company already sold a "good number of 004S? with the manual gearbox and 650 horsepower, and a good number of these 004CS? with 800 horsepower and (the seven-speed) paddle shift." The goal is to produce around 300 vehicles a year, and Glickenhaus is very confident his company will be able to meet this demand. The production version 004CS or "Competizione Stradale" is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine, and apparently, the final step of the homologation was the electronic stability control calibration. The engine will end up delivering a total of 800 horsepower (although there are rumors suggesting that the real number will actually be 740 horsepower). The engine will be mated to a seven-speed paddle-shift transmission. No matter what, the SCG 004CS will be a strong competitor against cars like the Lamborghini Huracan STO - tha he SCG 004CS is a "lightweight, purposeful, and refined" supercar with a central seating position. It features a race-car inspired body, with the same amazing aerodynamic features we?ve seen in all the other Glickenhaus models. Distinctive elements are the front-wheel louvers, the air scoop on the rear hood, and the digital race dashboard on the inside. The company paid attention to every little detail, like the titanium plates layered in around the top-exit exhausts and the underside of the wing, for example. The company will also offer an optional Track Day Package, which as its name suggests, will prepare the car for the track. It will include, among other things, five-point seatbelts, track wheels and race tires, and an adjustable front anti-roll bar. Join my Notification Squad: click the Bell ?
