Porsche 997 GT3 R-GT its Lovely Flat-6 Engine Sound 🔊 – 2023 Rally Legend San Marino

I'm always thrilled to see modern Porsche 997 GT3 R-GTs in action, even if they are uncommon. Fortunately, almost every edition of the San Marino Legend Rally, at least one example, takes part in the competition. How can you not love its screaming naturally aspirated Flat-6 engine? With a power of over 400hp at 8,500 rpm, it's moved by a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The car has the specifications of the R-GT regulation introduced in 2011 by the FIA but, unfortunately, never had much follow-up. The conditions necessary for homologation are rear-wheel drive only and a weight-power ratio of 3.4 kg/hp (4.6 kg/kW). Sono sempre molto contento di vedere in azione delle moderne Porsche 997 GT3 R-GT anche se a dire il vero sono poco diffuse. Fortunatamente quasi ad ogni edizione del Rally Legend di San Marino almeno un esemplare prende parte alla competizione. Come non si fa a non amare il suo motore Flat-6 aspirato che urla! Con una potenza superiore ai 400hp e ad 8.500 giri/min viene mosso da un cambio sequenziale a 6 rapporti. La vettura ha le specifiche del regolamento R-GT introdotti nel 2011 dalla FIA ma che purtroppo non e' mai avuto un grosso seguito. Fra le condizioni necessarie per l'omologazione, la trazione solamente posteriore ed un rapporto peso potenza di 3.4 kg/hp (4.6 kg/kw).
