Unexpectedly in Monza, I was lucky enough to film the Inaltera LM GTP, a French sports car prototype from 1976, built-in only three units. From my research, the car belongs to the Swiss driver and collector Edwin Stucky and ex Henri Pescarolo and Jean-Pierre Beltoise's official car. Therefore, it could be chassis # 003, one of the two cars that took part in the 24H of Le Mans in 1976. The French crew finished first in the GTP class and eighth in the overall race classification. In the role of a constructor, Ex-driver Jean Rondeau realises that to debut in the 1976 season, this prototype sports car is to be entered in the new prototype Gran Turismo class (GTP). This category was conceived for that year by the ACO for coupe cars instead of the FIA ??Group 6 boats. The project comes to fruition thanks to the sponsorship agreement with Inaltera, a manufacturer of wallpaper that affixes the brand and comes to the races with its racing team. A 3.0-Liter powers the car naturally aspirated Cosworth DFV V8 engine capable of developing 420hp. The frame is a steel tube trellis with aluminium boxed reinforcements. The suspension is a deformable wishbone on all wheels, brakes with self-ventilated front discs produced by Lockheed and wheel rims in the size of 13 ". The rear brake discs are mounted at the differential outlet to reduce unsprung mass. The coupe body is equipped with large NACA air intakes on both sides and excellent aerodynamic care that sees the use of two rear fins on the large tail to allow greater stability to the car. Il progetto si concretizza grazie all'accordo di sponsorizzazione con Inaltera, azienda produttrice di carte da parati che appone il proprio marchio sulla vettura e sull'intero team. Il motore da 3.0-Litri Cosworth DFV V8 aspirato che equipaggia l'auto e' in grado di sviluppare 420hp. Il telaio e' un traliccio in tubi di acciaio con rinforzi scatolati in alluminio. La sospensione e' a quadrilatero deformabile su tutte le ruote, freni con dischi anteriori autoventilanti prodotti dalla Lockheed e cerchi nella misura di 13". I dischi freno posteriori sono montati all'uscita del differenziale per ridurre le masse non sospese. La carrozzeria coupe e' dotata di ampie prese d'aria NACA su entrambi i lati e un'ottima cura aerodinamica con l'utilizzo di due alette posteriori sull'ampio codone per consentire una maggiore stabilita' alla vetturaalle alte velocita'.
