Formula 3 (F3) In-Season Testing at Imola Circuit – April 18, 2023 – 380Hp 3.4-Litre V6 Engine Sound

At the Imola circuit, I had the pleasure of following the first day of official testing of the Formula 3 (F3) championship cars on April 18, 2023. After the tests carried out the previous week on the Barcelona track in Spain, the young drivers are again behind the wheel for these two days. And from this circuit, the championship will officially start on the weekend of 19-21 May. The driver Nikita Bedrin of Jenzer Motorsport, was immediately in great shape, setting the best morning and afternoon tests with an amazing 1:30.368. Excellent times also for the competitive driver's Paul Aron, Gabriele Min?, Gabriel Bortoleto and Dino Beganovic. The cars used are made by Dallara Automobili with carbon monocoque structures and Mecachrome engines. There is a naturally aspirated 3.4-litre V6 engine capable of developing 380 HP at 8000 rpm moved by the 6-speed gearbox produced by Hewland via the electro-hydraulic system with steering wheel controls created by Magneti Marelli. Thanks to the weight of around 700 kg, the single-seaters reach a top speed of 300 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds. Enjoy! ? Ho avuto il piacere di seguire la prima giornata di test ufficiali delle vetture del campionato Formula 3 (F3) il giorno 18 Aprile 2023 sul circuito di Imola. Dopo le prove effettuate la settimana precedente sulla pista di Barcellona, in Spagna, i giovani piloti tornano nuovamente al volante per questa due giorni di test. Ed e' proprio da questa pista che nel weekend del 19-21 Maggio prendera' via ufficialmente il campionato. Subito in grande forma il pilota Nikita Bedrin della Jenzer Motorsport che ha fatto segnare i migliori tempi nelle prove della mattina e del pomeriggio mettendo a segno uno strepitoso 1:30.368. Ottimi tempi anche per i competitivi piloti Paul Aron, Gabriele Min?, Gabriel Bortoleto e Dino Beganovic. Le vetture impiegate sono realizzate dalla Dallara Automobili con stuttura monoscocca in carbonio e motorizzate Mecachrome. Trova posto un propulsore V6 da 3.4-Litri aspirato capace di sviluppare 380 HP a 8000 giri/min mosso dal cambio a 6 marce prodotto da Hewland tramite il sistema elettro-idraulico con comandi al volante realizzato da Magneti Marelli. Grazie al peso di circa 700 Kg le monoposto raggiungono una velocita' massima di 300 Km/h ed un'accelerazione da 0-100 Km/h in 3.1 secondi. Buona visione! ? ???????
