Ferrari 499P LMH Le Mans Hypercar Testing at Imola Circuit – 3-litre Twin-Turbo V6 Engine Sound 🔊

At the end of 2023, the Ferrari 499P LMH Hupercar N51 by AF Corse returned to the Imola circuit for two days of testing. This is the correct choice for the team, given that in 2024, the track will be part of the WEC season, and in April, the cars will return to Europe to compete in the 6h of Imola. We remember that after 50 years of absence from the top series in endurance racing, the Italian brand is back, and with the #51 car driven by the drivers Calado-Pier Guidi-Giovinazzi it won the 24 hours of Le Mans 2023 ahead of Toyota and completing 342 laps. The vehicle built with a carbon fibre monocoque uses the Ferrari Tipo F163 engine; it is a 3-litre 120 twin-turbo V6 + 272 HP electric motor for a total of 500 KW, equivalent to 680 HP limited as per the regulations. Sicuramente una scelta giusta da parte del team visto che nel 2024 il tracciato e' all'interno delle gare WEC per la stagione 2024 e proprio nel mese di aprile le vetture torneranno in Europa a disputare la 6h di Imola. Ricordiamo che dopo 50 anni di assenza dalla massina serie nelle gare endurance il marchio italiano e' tornato e con la vettura #51 guidata dai piloti Calado-Pier Guidi-Giovinazzi si e' aggiudicato la 24 ore di Le Mans 2023 precedendo la Toyota e completando 342 giri. La vettura costruita con monoscocca in fibra di carbonio utilizza il motore Ferrari Tipo F163, si tratta di un V6 a 120 biturbo da 3-Litri + motore elettrico da 272 Hp per un totale di 500 KW equivalenti a 680 Hp limitati come da regolamento.
