Fast Citroen Saxo 1.6 VTS N2 Onboard by Filippo Leandro Seri – Rainy Day at Autodromo di Modena

I recently saw this fast Citroen Saxo 1.6 VTS N2 during the last track day of the year at the Modena racetrack. Thanks to the excellent onboards of the pilot and owner, Filippo Leandro Seri, and to the external scenes with the video camera, I found this video very funny due to its fast and aggressive driving style. You should know that Filippo is a young rally driver and navigator who grew up in a family that has always been involved in competitions. His father, Leandro Seri, raced splendid cars such as the Fiat Ritmo 130, Peugeot 205 1.3, 106, Saxo and the latest VW Golf MK1 Gr.2. In his DNA, therefore, the passion for racing could not be missing, so much so that he won the TIC (Italian Classic Trophy) in 2022 in his first year of debut as a licensed pilot. Filippo pointed out to me that he took to the track in Modena with old and dated tyres, very hard, to have fun and entertain the public, and I think he really succeeded. The car is, therefore, a Saxo 1.6-Litre VTS with N2 specifications, lightened, equipped with a roll bar and front grafts gearbox, and the 4-cylinder engine develops a power of 138Hp. Enjoy! ? Recentemente ho visto in azione questa veloce Citroen Saxo 1.6 VTS N2 durante l'ultimo trackday dell'anno presso l'Autodromo di Modena. Grazie agli ottimi onboard del pilota e proprietario Filippo Leandro Seri ed alle scene esterne con la videocamera sono riuscito a realizzare questo video che trovo molto divertente per il suo stile di guida veloce ed aggressivo. Dovete sapere che Filippo e' un giovane pilota e navigatore di rally cresciuto in una famiglia da sempre coinvolta nel mondo delle competizioni. Suo babbo Leandro Seri ha corso con vetture splendide come Fiat Ritmo 130, Peugeot 205 1.3, 106, Saxo ed ultima VW Golf MK1 Gr.2. Nel suo D.N.A. non poteva quindi mancare la passione per le corse tanto da conquistare nel 2022 il TIC (Trofeo Italiano Classico) al suo primo anno di esorgio come pilota con licenza. Filippo mi ha fatto notare che e' sceso in pista a Modena con pneumatici vecchi e datati, molto duri, con l'intento di divertirsi e far divertire il pubblico e penso ci sia proprio riuscito. La vettura e' dunque una Saxo 1.6 VTS con specifiche N2, alleggerita, dotata di roll bar, cambio ad innesti frontali ed il motore a 4 cilindri sviluppa una potenza di 138Hp. Buona visione! ? ???????
