ELMS 4 Hours of Imola 2024 – European Le Mans Series – Collective Test – Kubica, Di Resta, Nielsen

The ELMS Europeans Le Mans Series finally returns to Italy with the 4H of Imola 2024. 2 years have passed since the last time the cars plied this track. I had the pleasure of seeing the first day of free practice (Collective Test), which took place on Thursday, 4th July. Impressive line-up with 43 crews at the start distributed in the three classes LMP2, LMP3 LMGT3. Among the 128 drivers competing, five 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024 winners are here. Among these, Nicklas Nielsen (#50 Ferrari 296 LMGT3, Formula Racing), the winners Bijoy Garg (#23) and Oliver Jarvis (#21), both on Oreca 07 Gimbson in the LMP2 class of the United Autosport team. And again, Fran?ois Perrodo (#83 Oreca 07 Gibson LMP2 of the AF Corse team) and Nico Varrone (#51 Ferrari 296 LMGT3 team AF Corse). The #43 car of the Inter Europol Team of Sebastian Alvarez, Vlad Lomko and Tom Dillmann is currently leading the LMP2 classification, ahead of the #22 car of the United Autosports team of Ugran/Sato/Hanley by a margin of 7 points.
