Eicma 2024 Milano – NEW 2025 KTM RC 990 R – 128Hp/10.500rpm – Walkaround Details

KTM presents at Eicma 2024 the most definitive version of the RC 990 R sports bike available in 2025. The sports segment seems to have a newfound youth; all the manufacturers offer new and exciting models, and KTM does not seem far behind. The engine is the twin-cylinder LC8c EURO5+, capable of developing 128 HP and 103 Nm at 10,500 rpm. The frame is a steel trellis, while the rear subframe is die-cast aluminium. The adjustable suspensions are WP Apex, and the braking system uses the latest Brembo Hypure brake calipers at the top of the range. The manufacturer is keen to point out that the aerodynamic fins studied in the wind tunnel - which ensure more excellent stability when braking and cornering - have matured from experience in competitions, especially MotoGP. The KTM 990 RC R prototype will participate as a ?wild card? in some of the most important European competitions in the Supersport. By the end of the first half of 2025, the KTM 990 RC R TRACK will be presented with an even more extreme version created for exclusive use on the track. Enjoy! ? Le sospensioni regolabili sono WP Apex, l?impianto frenante utilizza le piu' recenti pinze freno Brembo Hypure, top di gamma. Il costruttore ci tiene a segnalare che le alette aerodinamiche studiate nella galleria del vento - che assicurano maggiore stabilita' in frenata e in curva - sono maturate dall'esperienza nelle competizioni, specialmente MotoGP. ll prototipo della KTM 990 RC R partecipera' come ?wild card? ad alcune delle piu' importanti competizioni europee nella categoria Supersport ed entro la fine del primo semestre 2025 verra' presentata la KTM 990 RC R TRACK, una versione ancora piu' estrema, realizzata per l?esclusivo utilizzo in pista.
