EICMA 2023 Milano – NEW Italjet Dragster 559 Twin Concept – 58Hp at 8.500 rpm – Walkaround Details

This year, too, Italjet managed to surprise us. At the 2023 edition of EICMA at Milan, the Italian manufacturer presented, in a world preview, the latest evolution, or if we want to be honest, a revolution, of what was the Dragster 500GP in 2022. This time, the technicians outdid themselves and inserted a twin-cylinder, 4-stroke, eight-valve engine capable of developing 58.33 HP (43.5 W) at 8,500 rpm and 55 NM of torque at 6,500 rpm into the trellis frame. A six-speed gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch, electronic injection system and electric start powers it. This is an extreme scooter, but if we want, we can now define it as a hybrid that heads towards the type of real motorbike and adopts top-level components. In addition to the visible tubular trellis frame, at the front, we find a 48mm upside-down fork, while at the rear, a multi-adjustable shock absorber with a particular separate linkage system. Brembo supplies the braking system with a double 270mm front disc and 230mm rear disc?a total dry weight of 180 kg. Enjoy! ? Anche quest'anno Italjet e' riuscita a sorprenderci. All'edizione 2023 di EICMA Milano il costruttore italiano ha presentato, in anteprima mondiale, l'ultima evoluzione, ma se vogliamo dirla tutta, una rivoluzione, di quello che nel 2022 era il Dragster 500GP. Questa volta I tecnici si sono superati e nel telaio a tralicci hanno inserito un motore bicilindrico, 4 tempi, otto valvole capace di sviluppare 58.33 HP (43.5 W) a 8.500 giri/min e ben 55 NM di coppia a 6.500 Giri/min. A muoverlo ci pensa un cambio a sei marce con frizione multidisco a bagno d?olio, sistema di iniezione elettronica ed avviamento elettrico. Questo Scooter estremo, ma se vogliamo oramai possiamo definiro un ibrido che si dirige verso la tipologia di moto vera e propria, adotta una componentistica di primo livello. Oltre al telaio a traliccio a tubi in bella vista all'anteriore troviamo una forcella a steli rovesciati da 48mm mentre al posteriore un ammortizzatore pluri-regolabile con apposito sistema di leveraggio separato. L?impianto frenante e' fornito dalla Brembo con doppio disco anteriore da 270mm e disco posteriore da 230mm. Peso totale a secco di 180 kg. Buona visione! ? ???????
