Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo Imola 2022 – ACI Racing Weekend – Glowing Brakes, Sparks More!

The 2022 Italian Gran Turismo Championship returned to the Imola circuit during the ACI Racing Weekend races. The list of starters was extensive and allowed us to see countless overtakes during the two races of about an hour each that took place on Saturday and Sunday. On the first day, the victory went to the crew Stuart Middleton/Alberto Maria Di Folco in Lamborghini Huracan GT3, while the other steps of the podium were conquered by Jose Manuel Urcera/Daniele Di Amato (Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo) and Jens Klingmann/Timo Glock (BMW M4 GT3). Another spectacular and hard-fought race on Sunday with an unexpected finish after a fantastic comeback for the crew made up of Matteo Cressoni/Kikko Galbiati in a Mercedes AMG GT3. During the last lap, they overtook drivers Alessandro Mancini and Jacopo Guidetti (Honda HSX GT3). At the same time, the third place went to the team Jose Manuel Urcera/Daniele Di Amato aboard the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo. Il Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo 2022 e' tornato sul circuito di Imola durante le gare dell'ACI Racing Weekend. Molto folta la lista dai partenti al via che ha permesso di vedere innumerevoli sorpassi durante le due gare di circa un'ora ciascuna che si sono svolte il Sabato e la Domenica. Nella prima giornata la vittoria e' andata all'equipaggio Stuart Middleton/Alberto Maria Di Folco su Lamborghini Huracan GT3 mentre gli altri gradini del podio sono stati conquistati da Jose Manuel Urcera/Daniele Di Amato (Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo) e Jens Klingmann/Timo Glock (BMW M4 GT3). Altra spettacolare e combattuta gara la Domenica con un finale insperato dopo una fantastica rimonta per l'equipaggio formato da Matteo Cressoni/Kikko Galbiati che su Mercedes AMG GT3. All'ultimo giro si sono imposti sui piloti Alessandro Moncini e Jacopo Guidetti (Honda HSX GT3) mentre il terzo posto e' andato all'rquipaggio Jose Manuel Urcera/Daniele Di Amato a bordo della Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo.
