The last 2023 round of the Boss GP Racing Series championship, called "Gran Finale", took place at the second weekend of October at the Italian circuit of Mugello. The Boss GP Racing Series is an excellent European championship that allows owners of modern but not very recent F1, F3000 and GP2 cars to return to racing on the track. Almost exclusively GP2 vehicles are present, mainly Dallaras of different years powered by the 4.0-litre naturally aspirated Mecachrome V8 engine. Also interesting are the Dallara T12 World Series (Open class) with the 4.5-litre naturally aspirated Gibson V8 engine and the Lola Auto GP with the 3.4-litre aspirated V8 engine from Zytek. I appreciate the Boss GP, which I find highly spectacular. The cars that run on the track are high-speed, so the races are fascinating to watch. Accessing the boxes for starting the engines with the fabulous naturally aspirated V8s is equally stunning. Race one was won by the Italian driver Marco Colombo of the MM International team (Dallara GP2), who distanced himself from Marco Ghiotto (ITA, Scuderia Palladio, Dallara GP2) in second place. The third step of the podium for Marc Faggionato (MCO, MM International, Dallara GP2). In race 2, Antonio Pizzonia (BRA, HS Engineering, Dallara - World Series T12) won the Open class, and with the same ranking as race 1 for the Formula class saw on the podium respectively, Marco Colombo first, Marco Ghiotto second and Marc Faggionato in third place. La Boss GP Racing Series e' un campionato Europeo molto bello che permette ai proprietari di moderne ma non recentissime vetture di F1, F3000 e GP2 di tornare a gareggiare in pista. Sono presenti quasi esclusivamente vetture GP2, prevalentemente Dallara di differenti anni mosse dal motore Mecachrome v8 aspirato da 4.0-Litri di cilindrata. Interessanti anche la Dallara T12 World Series (classe Open) con il motore Gibson V8 aspirato da 4.5-Litri e le Lola Auto GP con il motore V8 aspirato da 3.4-Litri della Zytek. Personalmente apprezzo molto la Boss GP che trovo altamente spettacolare. Le monoposto che girano in pista sono estremamente veloci per cui le gare sono interessanti da vedere. Altrettanto spettacolare e' poter accedere ai box per l'accensione dei motori con i favolusi V8 aspirati. Per dovere di cronaca la gara 1 e' stata vinta dal pilota italiano Marco Colombo del team MM International (Dallara GP2) che ha distanziato Marco Ghiotto (ITA, Scuderia Palladio, Dallara GP2) al secondo posto. Terzo gradino del podio per Marc Faggionato (MCO, MM International, Dallara GP2). In gara 2 Antonio Pizzonia (BRA, HS Engineering, Dallara - World Series T12) ha vinto la classe Open mentre stessa classifica di gara 1 per la classe Formula, quindi sul podio rispettivamente Marco Colombo primo, Marco Ghiotto secondo e Marc Faggionato al terzo posto.
