The code-named G06 will share most of its underpinnings with the G05. Next BMW X6 could be available with the B57 straight-six turbo diesel as well, in two flavours: xDrive30d and M50d. The quad-turbocharged engine option packs no less than 760 Nm, making it torquier than the M5 with 750 Nm. The X6 M will borrow the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 600 horsepower in the M5.
