Ordered 30 August 1972 by industrialist Luigi Innocenti as gift to son Gianfranco in return for giving up motorbike ? to be finished before end of December 1972, to avoid new Italian purchase tax. ?Special works? document lists ?More powerful engine; Jota type fuel filler; no front grilles; rear grille silver; writing chromed; paint metallic black; interior white leather (milk)?. Total price quoted as 9,500,000 lire. Registered 30 December 1972 as MI S00000, stating price as 9,201,923 lire. Collected from factory 15 January 1973. Innocenti uses for 18,000km, including trips to Rome and St Tropez, and reports attaining indicated 290km/h on Bologna-to-Padova autostrada. Gearbox overhauled twice in nine months; car serviced by factory and by Achilli Motors of Milan. Part-exchanged late 1973 for new Countach. To Lamborghini client Stel Bertino of Gonars, December 1973; registration UD 264533. To industrialist Carlo Bonomi May 1974; registered (in name of employee Guido Pastore) TO L61978 and given blue and yellow pinstripe down central groove of bonnet. Late 1981 for sale in AutoSprint magazine; purchased at c30,000km by Swiss Lamborghini importer and club president Max Bobnar. Sold December 1988 at 46,000km to Swedish investor. April 1998 to Simon Kidston afterten years in storage. UK-registered TGF 104L; later with Geneva registration GE 51100 and currently with UK plate 73 SV.
