Antonio Giovinazzi Developing 2019 Pirelli F1 Wet Tires w/ a Ferrari SF71H
20 Aprile, 2018
Yesterday me and my friend Italiansupercarvideo went in Maranello at Ferrari private circuit, Fiorano, for the second scheduled Pirelli test o 2018.
This one was made in order to develop the wet and intermediate tires for the 2019 season on the artificial wet track, after a few dry installation laps. During those test, teams can use the 2018 cars but withouttesting any new solution and components. All data from each test will be shared between the various teams.
Watch the Italian third Ferrari F1 driver Antonio Giovinazzi in action with a 2018 Ferrari SF71H around Fiorano Circuit. Definitely you can hear how the wastegates opening sound is characteristic of the 2018 Ferrari PU (from 2:40 onwards the video you can hear them opening during the various accelerations)
