Modena Cento Ore 2022 – Day 4 at Misano Circuit – Classic Cars Competition Race 1 2 Highlights

On its fourth day, the Modena Cento Ore 2022 made a stop at the Mugello racetrack, where I could attend the two races in the "Competition" category. You must know that in this amazing vintage car event, it is possible to participate in the form of regularity or the more spectacular racing variant. You will see the latter in the video with an extract of Highlights. Two races were held to allow cars with the same performance to compete. In principle, we have the competition for vehicles from the 50s/60s and those for models from the 70s/80s. In turn, there are further distinctions and subclasses with separate rankings. The races, as usual, are very fought, and there is no lack of contacts, off the track and breaks. In the first competition, once again, the Jaguar E-Type (1964) of the British crew Philip Nigel Walker/Gordon Shedden dominated, while Race 2 was won by the French drivers Didier Sirgue/Gilles Moudestr in a De Tomaso Pantera Gr.4 (1976). La Modena Cento Ore 2022 nella sua quarta giornata ha fatto tappa presso l'Autodromo del Mugello dove ho potuto assistere alle due gare della categoria "Competition". Dovete sapere che in questa splendida manifestazioni per auto d'epoca e' possibile parteciparvi sotto forma di regolarita' oppure nella piu' spettacolare variante da gara. E' proprio quest'ultima che vedrete nel video con un'estratto di Highlights. Si sono svolte due manches per permettere alle auto di pari prestazioni di potersi confrontare. In linea di massima abbiamo la competizione per vetture anni 50-60 e quella per modelli anni 70-80. A loro volta, ci sono ulteriori distinzioni e sottoclassi con classifiche separate. Le gare come di consueto sono molto combattute e non mancano contatti, uscite di pista e rotture. Nella prima delle due competizioni ha dominato, ancora una volta, la Jaguar E-Type (1964) dell'equipaggio inglese Philip Nigel Walker/Gordon Shedden mentre gara 2 e' stata vinta dai piloti francesi Didier Sirgue/Gilles Moudestr in a De Tomaso Pantera Gr.4 (1976).
