THIS IS THE NEW 2022 AUDI R8 GT RWD DRIVING ON TRACK!

This video shows you the all new Audi R8 GT RWD driving on track. The epic V-10-powered Audi R8 has been on sale since 2006. Now, production is finally coming to a close next year. The company is saying goodbye with a model called the R8 GT?the second of its kind?complete with RWD, 602 hp, and a production run limited to just 333 units worldwide. Unlike the last R8 GT, which used all-wheel drive to get the power from its V-10 engine to the ground, this latest version is based on the rear-wheel-drive R8. But it gets the full-force tune from the AWD car, meaning 602 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque from that 5.2-liter 10-cylinder engine. The only choice of transmission, as it has been for years now, is a seven-speed dual-clutch, though the GT gets an "altered gear ratio" that allows for a higher top speed. The 0-62 sprint happens in 3.4 seconds, while top speed is 199 mph. For the first time Audi has given the R8 an adjustable traction control system, calling it Torque Rear Drive mode. In the GT, it allows the driver to choose between seven different levels of traction control, each allowing different levels of slippage until intervention occurs. There are also model-specific 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. They shroud standard carbon-ceramic brakes. There are a handful of visual changes made to the R8 GT to differentiate it from the standard car. There are a collection of gloss carbon aero bits along the exterior, including a rear wing, splitter, side skirts, and a diffuser. Eagle-eyed readers will also be able to spot the black badging and emblems throughout. Inside you'll find a combination of red and black materials, along with a pair of bucket seats. Audi says it plans to build 333 R8 GTs globally, though it has yet to reveal U.S.-specific pricing or allocation numbers.
