$6M, 670hp Glickenhaus SCG 007 LMH

The Glickenhaus SCG 007 LMH is a sports prototype racing car built by the American brand Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus for the Le Mans Hypercar category in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The SCG 007 LMH uses a 3.5l V8 twin-turbo petrol engine built by the French brand Pipo Moteurs, who are renowned for making racing engine as Hyundai WRC engines. In this case, they have taken two of them to create an engine from scratch. This powertrain is their first structural engine meaning that it is screwed onto the monocoque, supporting the gearbox, and works to supports the suspension. This power is distributed through an XTrac seven-speed sequential gearbox with drive going to the rear wheels. Podium Advanced Technologies of Italy are largely responsible for creating the carbon fibre composite monocoque chassis of the 007 LMH. Another of their partners, Sauber, have taken responsibility for the aerodynamics of the car with a carbon fibre composite body shell that has been worked from Sauber?s wind tunnel facility. The car then entered its five year homologation period after these finalisations. Join my Notification Squad: click the Bell ?
