Forty-one years have passed since the last time Italy hosted the European Aerobatic Championship, and finally, in 2023, the dream came true. For about two weeks, 24 pilots from every European nation trained and competed above the skies of Pavullo nel Frignano, Modena. The Pavullo Aero club at the "G. Paolucci" State Civil Airport hosted the unlimited class aerobatics event, the most advanced in the sector. I followed the last day of performances, the most spectacular one because it was composed of a free program by the pilots who, after fulfilling the required performance standards, could freely try their hand at the "Free-Style" demonstration. For the record, the title of European champions went to the French team, second place for Romania and third place on the podium for the Czech Republic. Sono passati 41 anni dall'ultima volta che l'Italia ha ospitato il Campionato Europeo di volo acrobatico e finalmente nel 2023 il sogno si e' avverato. Per circa due settimane 24 piloti provenienti da ogni nazione Europea hanno compiuto allenamenti e gare sopra i cieli di Pavullo nel Frignano. Ad ospitare l'evento di acrobazia aerea classe illimitata, la piu' evoluta del settore, ci ha pensato l'Aero club Pavullo presso l'Aeroporto Civile Statale "G. Paolucci". Ho seguito l'ultima giornata di esibizioni, quella piu' spettacolare perche' composta da un programma libero da parte dei piloti che dopo aver compiuto quelli standard di esibizione richiesti si sono potuti cimentare liberamente con la dimostrazione di "Free-Style". Per dovere di cronaca il titolo di campioni europei e' andato alla squadra Francese, secondo posto per la Romania e terzo gradino del podio per la Repubblica Ceca.
