This 1978 Fiat Abarth 131 Works, at the hands of Markku Alen, won the 1978 World Rally Championship. The competition version of the pedestrian Fiat 131 Sedan, the 131 won 20 WRC events between 1976 and 1981, and wore the distinct "Alitalia" livery for the 1978 and 1979 seasons. Fresh off a full restoration, this particular car is presented in "ready to race in period" condition, and has less than 50 miles on the odometer. This is what it would be like to drive a brand-spanking-new Fiat Abarth 131 Works in 1978. Special thanks to the John J.
