1971 Ferrari 512M “Recreation” by Roelofs Engineering – 😍 Lovely 600Hp V12 Engine Sound at Misano

I had the pleasure of filming this Ferrari 512 M "Recreation", based on the 1971 model, in action on the Misano circuit during the 2024 edition of the Modena Cento Ore. The car, driven by the French crew Mister John of B/Sibel, takes part in several competitions for historic vehicles, including the Tour de France automobile. As you can certainly understand, it is almost unthinkable to be able to use an original vehicle worth millions of euros in competitions nowadays. The car mounts a 4,993 cc (304.7 cu-in) V12 60 engine in a central position and arranged longitudinally, capable of developing over 600 hp (455 kW) at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 544 Nm (401 ft-lbs) at 5,500 rpm. The rear-wheel drive race car fits a 5-speed manual gearbox and weighs just over 800 kg. Enjoy! ? La vettura guidata dall'equipaggio francese Mister John of B/Sibel prende parte a diverse competizioni per vetture storiche tra cui il Tour de France automobilistico. Come certamente potete capire e' quasi impensabile poter utilizzare una vettura originale, dal valore di milioni di euro, al giorno d'oggi nelle competizioni. La vettura monta in posizione centrale e sistemato longitudinalmente un motore V12 60 da 4,993 cc (304.7 cu-in) capace di sviluppare oltre 600 hp (455 kW) a 9.000 giri/min ed una coppia massima di 544 Nm (401 ft-lbs) a 5.500 giri/min.
