Punctual, as every year, the 12H endurance race of Mugello returns to Italy, and starting this year, the sponsor/supplier of tires is no longer Hankook but Michelin. This video refers to Saturday, 22 March and concerns the first 7 hours of competition, starting at 11 in the morning and ending at 18 in the afternoon. The heavy rain in the initial hours of the competition led to a considerable number of cars off the track due to the slippery asphalt. This led to several moments of Full Course Yellow flags in compliance with the 60 km/h limits to remove the cars from the gravel at dangerous track points. The variable weather conditions of wet, dry and wet again led to a continuous change of strategy by the teams with alternating use of tires depending on the need, and there was no shortage of countless pit stops. Despite this, the Manamauri Energy by Ebimotors team with the Porsche 992 GT3 R number 95 of the Fabrizio Broggi/Sabino de Castro/Sergiu Nicolae crew finished the seven hours of the race first. Right behind them in the standing,s we find the Ferrari 296 GT3 number 8 of the CCC Kessel Racing team of L. L.D.V./Alessandro Cutrera/Marco Frezza/David Fumanell, i and the Mercedes AMG GT3 EVO number 27 of the Heart of Racing by SPS team of Ian James/Gray Newell/Hannah Grisham. Questo video si riferisce alla giornata di Sabato 22 Marzo e riguarda le prime 7 ore di competizione, partenza alle 11 di mattina e termine alle 18 del pomeriggio. La forte pioggia nelle ore iniziali della competizione ha portato ad un considerevole numero di vetture fuori pista per via dell'asfalto scivoloso. Questo ha comportato diversi momenti di bandiara in modalita' Full Course Yellow nel rispetto dei limiti dei 60 km/h per rimuovere le auto nella ghiaia in punti pericolosi della pista. Le condizioni meteo variabili di bagnato, asciutto e nuovamente bagnato hanno comportato un continuo cambio di strategia da parte dei team con utilizzo alternato di pneumatici a seconda della necessita' e non sono mancati innumerevoli pit-stop.
